People of the Alliance! I have seen something that horrifies me so... members, senior and junior, seemed to have forgotten to fight! Just an hour ago i witnessed a member send his men in staggered! Now! This horrified me, so in the hall of knowledge i wrote up a quick guide to fighting. It just answers some questions i think are important. i would recommend it be read by all, event those who are old members. Please PM me with comments or questions.

Here is a part i want everyone to see though. Because the way some members are fighting is frightening me, and it needs to be addressed.

"Q: How should i send my troops in?
A: If you have played any games then i am sure you have seen those people who stagger their troops. They send them in without grouping them. This is a beginners move, and if you see an ally doing this, destroy them, or correct them. This move essentially cuts the efficiency of your troops down. An army of 20 could easily decimate an army of 100 individual 1's. Why you ask? Because if you group your men they fight together, and larger armies do damage faster, and a lot more of it. If i were to compare it... it would be like getting bit by an ant (to stagger) compared to being punched in the face (grouping). Which would you rather do to your enemy?"

Make sure to check the full article out in the hall of knowledge.

not the worst mistake
i've seen someone force marching his troops for no apparent reason (he wasn't in a war, and he's fming them for about 7 hrs from his south to his north)
i was his ally until i saw that....great job on ruining ur own morale, by the time his troops came to meet mine, they only had 22% morale left, and that resulted in a very quick and easy slaughter (i'd say this is worse than staggered attack...)

I forgot you could even force march your troops! It's such a useless and dangerous move that I haven't used it... At the most a few times. Your men's moral is key to keeping a good fighting force alive and powerful.

Another tip:

When placing troops to attack a city, place troops in FRONT of the artillery, not WITH the artillery (or railguns, they suck when attacked head-on). That way, you ranged weapons will not be pummeled out of the game.
