Application for Council Positions

The alliance member system is changing. Now longer are their confusing ranks, now it is quite clear.

I am going to be choosing 5 Council members to help me run this alliance. The new positions will be as follows.

Match Coordinator
Recruit Coordinator
Administration Head
Roll Call Coordinator
Speaker of the Council

Speaker of the Council: Leader of the Council. Manages all maters that are relevant to the council, such as votes, and communication between council and Admiral. Also becomes a moderator in the official supremacy alliance page.

Roll Call Coordinator: Starts the Roll Call, recommends those who failed to show up for removal from the alliance to the Administration Head.



Administration Head: Brings to Councils attention if they is someone who needs to be promoted/demoted or banned from forum or removed from alliance. Council takes a vote to promote/demote or remove people from the forum or alliance. 2/3 vote is needed for passage. Council must have good reason to ban someone from forum or kick someone out of alliance. Josiah reserves the right to override the Council if they don't have a good enough reason to ban someone/ remove someone from the alliance.

Match Coordinator: Gets us matches with other alliances.

Recruit Coordinator: Focuses on recruiting new members to the alliance. As well as welcoming new members, and helping them navigate through the site.

Administration Head

Not too long ago I used to be a colonel in a video game clan. While I was Lt.Col I was the disciplinarian. I'd remove trial members that didn't make the cut. Also if the colonel wanted to reprimand someone he'd make me do it. During my tenure as Lt.Col and Colonel I managed a game server for the clan. I was also a super moderator on their forum (which was closed). The clan disbanded after my departure as only two people were left. We had like 20 people a few months ago. I left because there nothing more I could do for the clan. We were playing an old game and the leader wasn't willing to switch to a more modern game. Plus my pc wasn't powerful enough to make the switch to something like cod4 ect. When I was playing erepublik I was Co-Party President in a political party, which made me an administrator on the forum and a Operator on the internet relay chat. I later became busy with school work and gave up on erepublik. I returned to erepublik again a few years later and someone from my new political asked me if I'd play Supremacy 1914 with him. I agreed and well now I'm here.

Speaker of the Council

I should be considered for Speaker of the Council, because I've been doing my homework. I've been checking on how other alliance are doing recruitment wise and why people flock to those alliances. A few checks on the Supremacy 1914 forum lead me to find out why alliances like Section 8, O.M.E.G.A and Fidei Defensor are filling up. They got well written introductory articles, CoC's and councils. Moreover, these some of these alliances like O.M.E.G.A recruit aggressive on the forum. Just about anyone who posts asking for an alliance receives a reply from an O.M.E.G.A member. I'm very active within the SNA and have been here for almost a year. I think I joined last August. I think outside the box and am ready to try new things if it's for the greater good of our alliance.

Match Coordinator

I'd like to be considered for Match Coordinator, because I'd like to get us some challenging matches. Sure we mite lose 4 elo to a strong team but if we beat them we get 6 elo, worth the risk. If we start to lose too much I'll match us up against weaker teams. Though if we are playing a average team we lose or gain 5 elo. I was also considering having a 7 vs 7 match on the Asia map if anyone is looking for a break in between the 10 player map.

Recruit Coordinator

I'd like to be considered for this position because I'm active on the Supremacy 1914 forum and willing to attempt to get us new recruits when someone posts asking for an alliance. I believe I'm the right person for the job because I can persuade people cause I'm a good talker. Plus with us having a CoC, council and a well written introductory article will make my job easier.

Roll Call Coordinator

If I run the roll calls everyone gets a week to reply back or there out. Unless they are on vacation, have medical problems ect.However, they must let someone know so we don't assume there inactive cause they don't play Supremacy 1914 anymore. Also a personal message will be sent to all member's to ensure that they get a chance to reply back.

I would how ever like to know what the job would be really....
clearly removing people from the alliance is not something we want, what kind of things would make that happen?

Well, I think I'm a fair and reasonable man... ummmm.... i keep writing shit and then not liking it and deleting it... so, i'm tired and sick of writing bullshit...

Shewy we would remove people because:

1) Inactively, failing to show up to roll calls without an explanation.
2) Trolls.
3) People that can't help but flame at people, kinda like a troll that threatens people.

Well we haven't ran into trolls or flame wars yet. So most likely someone would be removed due to failing to show up to roll calls.

We would demote people for:
1) Disrespecting a member of the alliance.
2) Members of the match squad or council then show up rarely without a good excuse.
